Planned works: Updates, security patches and reconfiguration of our core services. Migration of network license server.
Impact: During the maintenance window, some services and our network in the labs might be temporarily unavailable. This includes the Equipment Rental System, Labs Homebase, Videostorage and License Server. You can use the lab PCs like normal if you do not rely on one of these services and do not need a permanent internet connection.
Misc: Due to migration, the license server might be offline for longer. It provides network licenses to VRay, 3DE, Nuke, Avid Media Composer.

Planned works: Fresh installation of the latest Windows version. Installation of the latest software versions.
Impact: All your locally saved data will be permanently deleted. Please back up any data beforehand. Since software versions can change, some older projects might not work anymore - consult the software vendor before opening your project in a newer version!
Misc: Each individual lab should only be blocked for a few days while we perform the updates in that specific room. At this point in time, we cannot provide a more detailed schedule as to when each lab will be blocked.
